B.C. Government Update
Adrian Mohareb, M.Eng., P.Eng., LEED® AP, has been a Senior Building Codes Administrator with the Building and Safety Standards Branch for the past two years. He has been working largely on energy efficiency related issues, including the Energy Step Code and the Climate Leadership Plan, and responding to Codes Questions from industry, authorities having jurisdiction, and the public. He was previously the Community Energy Program Manager for the City of Prince George, and has worked in the private and not-for-profit sectors on climate action planning and energy efficiency consulting, including with ClearLead Consulting to deliver FortisBC’s Commercial Energy Assessment Program. Adrian has a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, a Masters in Environmental Engineering from the University of Ottawa, and a Masters in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge {pronounced BLE-kin-YUH} Institute of Technology in Karlskrona, Sweden.

Student Sponsorship Program

We’re pleased to confirm our student sponsorship program is available again for the 2016/17 season! The goal of this program is to encourage student participation in our chapter through sponsored attendance at monthly dinner meetings. Students are provided the opportunity to meet local professionals from a variety of disciplines while learning about topics relevant to the construction industry. Sponsored seats - paid through donations from chapter members and local businesses - are offered to students on a first come first served basis.
